300 BLK muzzle device
Anyone know of any cheap ones? Realized after finding a cheap A2 that the .300 barrels are threaded at 5/8-24 instead. Trying not to drop $45 on a piece of metal to put at the end of my barrel.

Buy a thread protector, I use them on both of my Sports. I have found that muzzle devices can cause a bullet to deviate, although if you sight it in with it on it will always do the same thing a thread protector is cheaper and works fine until you figure out exactly what you want to put on it.

LbulletM...I really prefer my thread protectors, they dont seem to be as loud and they allow the barrel to be as accurate as it can be. I went through a phase where I worked on brakes and flash hiders and even had a couple of custom made. I still have on of them and it works great but I do prefer the thread protector without the brake or the flash hider. The Pdogs arent looking for a flash and the sound dissipates quickly so I have gone to the thread protectors happily.

These work pretty well, and the price is right. I even stuck one on a 700 Remington.

That last link that CDog posted has A2 style flash suppresors with your threading for $6 that a good deal, I just think at this time not having a muzzle device is one less characteristic on Freinkenstien's list LOL

Good find on the website Cdog! And awesome find within the site Grover! I might go with the A2 just for the tacticool look and since that's about the same price as thread protectors that I was seeing.
On a side note, how did you find this site? The only thing I can find for searching these days (ever since google got all anal about the gun thing) is slickguns, and they're not the greatest when you're looking for a very specific things...

Started seeing their products locally and googled them. I've used several of their parts with fine results. I've used everything from bolts to brakes from them.

Looks like the girlfriend surprised me with a flash hider after I was complaining about shipping last night haha. She caught me right as I was about to put in credit card information.
