After looking at it, my opinion and it is just an opinion is no. It would require a total retooling and recasting of a special MSR lower. They have already changed the specs on a bunch of the M&P15's probably using the same equipment that they used to make the sports barrel to make the M&P10 barrel.
Because they started with a blank slate to build the M&P10 they could design the lower to be anyway they want it. The M&P15 lower is made to interchange with pretty much an industry standard upper. And they sell the uppers to go with any other manufactured AR style lower.
I dont have any experience with the M&P10 but will its lower interchange with the other manufactured .308 modern sporting rifles like DPMS or Olympic arms .308 rifles.
If you want to install all the ambi parts on an M&P15 they are readily available although the buttons and their locations would be different.
So back to my original statement, I don't think that they will, in the near future anyway, make those kind of changes in the M&P15 line.
after looking at the pictures of the DPMS it is not interchangeable. in the M&P15 line that is one of its selling points.
