Anyone else tried these?
I wanted some high quality rail covers for my 'T' when I stumbled upon these little babies!
72pc set and each one snaps onto the rails, one by one.
LaRue made them for snapping onto the rails so optics could be changed out fast without counting or remembering which slots they came out of.
I read the reviews and thunk I'd give them a try.
Each pc snaps in HARD which is a good thing so they won't exit the weapon w/o you knowing.
The easiest way to remove them is like LaRue sez on their website: "A Dillo Tool Works for Removal".
Takes some time to get used to removing them, but the Dillo works great for this!!
Some of the set have 'feet' on them for stringing wires along the rail for flashlights, etc. which I will eventually use.
The peices have a radius to them so after installation the quad rail is actually comfortable to hang onto. They take the sharp edges and 'squareness' of the quad rail away and make a comfortable, anti-slip, semi-round foregrip instead.
I originally bought a set for the 15/22, liked them so well I bought a second set for the T.
These don't have to be cut for fitting around accessories, either.
All sorts of colors, too. Check them out if looking for a cover for your quad rails.
