Default Flash suppressed.

I have the older style flash suppresser that's on my M&P MOE and was thinking of upgrading to S&W's new style. Three questions:
1- Has anybody changed the older style for the new?
2- Does S&W sell them?
3- Are they worth the upgrade over some of the better aftermarket ones?
Thanks

If you're going to replace it, might as well look at aftermarket parts. I'm looking at changing mine out at some point, and really looking at the YHM Phantom. Very nicely priced and supposedly does a great job of flash suppression. The good ol' A2 tests very well, also.

Thanks for the reply. I just in the beginning stages of determining if the cost vs real need would make a different flash suppresser a worth while addition.

Look at the Wilson Combat, the size of a birdcage but vortex design. Mine really controls flash and seems to control muzzle rise a bit. Also BCM makes an excellent compact hider.
