Congratulations, my friend.

There is no better feeling than getting a new and wonderful Smith & Wesson M&P 15.

Your MOE is a GREAT carbine and she'll give you lots of years of excellent service. The LaRue mount and Aimpoint are absolutely first-class, too. I have the same rig, only with an Aimpoint T-1 in a LaRue mount.

My best wishes for lots and lots of fun with your new AR.

God Bless,

Steve

Nice the mid length should give lighter recoils. I have the older MOE carbine length, but not sorry I didn't wait.

I bought one just like one that about a month ago. I have a different optic on it though. I love mine. It feels great in me mitts, and doesn't miss a lick at the range. I hope you have as much fun with yours, as I am having with mine!

I've not tried one yet. There's nothing but FINE reports about Vortex.

How do you like the Strikefire?

StrikeFire is decent. They make two different ones. One is red/green one is red.

Perhaps it was Primary Arms (I think) had them on sale for $109 recently. It's a good red dot for regular price. Great for $109.

I got mine from Palmetto State and so for in the house it has done okay. This being my first and only red dot I really don't have anything to judge it against. The brighter the setting the more you see grapes vs a dot. I'll try to take it outside tonight to see how it looks.

I also found that out. I hope magpul will develop one since the lower is theirs too. That is the one thing I want to add to my rifle.

BAD lever installed on the M&P MOE. He doesn't show what he did but he does explain it. I've been also looking into this one.

Thanks for posting the video tarheelball! I did not even think about bending the magpul B.A.D. lever to make it fit. I will have to try that when I get one.
