So I decided to buy one of these and try it out. Nobody that I know of has tried one yet and for $45 I said what the heck.
Compared to a standard A2 or Stag Arms break it adds significant recoil when shooting. It does put off a cool little fireball that's noticeable when shootingat dusk. It is pretty much a gutted Noveske KX3. Product link is below.

LOL I prefer yelling "back blast area clear" before my brake sends out flames and a serious shock wave.

its actualy not that loud, stand on the side of my Stag Muzzle break and youll go deaf!

So....why add it to your rifle? More noise, more recoil?

Well as the product description said "shoot fireballs". i think thats their cheesy selling point. And yes it does shoot fireballs out of it. More of a novelty item if anything. Had i tried one beforehand i would not buy it again.

I see they have these for $36 (limit 2) + $5 shipping at Gearhog today. May try one on my Short Barrel AR Pistol. If I ever shot it from an odd position I'd prefer the blast go forward rather than upward....as will people on either side of me at the range

Been too cheap to go for a Noveske since the AR Pistol is really just a toy at this point. (And don't need the increased back pressure of a Noveske as mine works just fine as-is)
