I have the TS version with the Troy rail. There a few TS owners on the forum in addition to myself.

A TS for $997? That seems too good to be true. Tell me where you got it, I'd love to have one at that price.
Well done!

That is a helluva good price. I paid $1300 for mine just after the reelection and before the great panic.

Yeah, if I had to bet, I think he meant the 15T. I've seen those in that price range, but never the TS.
*awaits patiently for answer hoping it is a TS so I can get one too at that price*

I have a TS and love it totally.
There is one product that greatly enhances the TS. I bought the Troy Squid Grip Covers (took three packages). Man, does it feel nice now ... and even easier to control.
God Bless,
Steve

No i meant the TS, i get law enforcement pricing and also 100 dollar rebate for being active duty army. I could grab the T for about 700 bucks after rebate. And i ship to a place on base so i pay zero in taxes

No its a TS. I get law enforcement pricing from budspolicesupply , they have it for 1097 shipped. I also get 100 nations finest rebate from smith and wesson. Thats why its 997, tried to post a link but said it had to be reviewed. They have the T for 820-100 rebate would be 720. Also i ship to federal property so no sales tax.

That is one helluva good deal. Congrats! You'll love the TS. I also recommend the squid grips.
I just ordered an Eotech Exps for my TS. Gonna slap it on in favor of my Aimpoint Pro for now. I like my Aimpoint but I love the Eotech my dad put on his Sig M400.

I only used 1.5 packs on mine. Didn't cover all the holes, only where I hold the rail.

I was debating on getting the M&P 15TS or the DDM4 V7. I end up getting the DDM4 V7. The TS looks like a nice rifle. Buds Police does have a great deal on M&P products.

i hear nothing but good things about DD, the deals on buds police are pretty insane. They just had the MP 10 pop up for 975, pretty slick deals considering they have the same one in the PX for 1500

Hmmm, last time I looked at Buds they didn't have anything I was interested in...very low inventory. It sounds like that's changed and I'd better check it out again.

They are stocked on M&P pistols except for the Shield. They had the Shield in 9 and 40 last week but they went fast. I just picked up a 9c for $399.99. They have quite a few M&P Ar's as well.

BigChief, thanks for posting. I just order a S&W M&P 15 TS 5.56mm, however, added the additional insurance for a total shipped price of $1,108.00 (with rebate will make it $1008.00 for the rife).
BTW, I only recently researched M & P Rifles, and debated between the Mid vs TS versions. I may sometime next year purchase the M & P Mid MOE FDE.
In addition, I may have research almost every quality AR rifle available from $2,500 to $800 (i own a Colt LE6920 & a LMT MWS .308). It really came down to intended use (range/self defense), value, manufactuer's reputation for quality and customer service.
Thanks again for the post.

M & P 15 VTAC II 5.56mm (Mid Length)

No worries, I am now considering adding the M & P 15 VTAC II 5.56mm (Mid Length) sometime next year. I held one a couple of months ago at LGS and while very nice, it has some stiff competition in the $1,700+ price range.
However, after reading reviews and considering all the quality components, it actually is a very decent value.
BTW, have you or anyone seen a M & P15 VTAC II sold for less than $1,500 (NIB) reccently?

Thanks, BigChief!
BTW, I called BudPoliceSupply.com just to see if they have an anticipate inventory for VTAC II or a Mid MOE FDE.....not as of 11.15.2013.
I hope to take advantage of Smith & Wessons rebate before the end of the year.
Cheers!

I bought the last one they had in stock about two weeks ago, just picked it up yesterday from my FFL, $975 delivered. I am going to see if I can get the rebate for $100 like I did on my other S&W firearms, that would make for one screaming deal.
