Default My new Sport :)

Finally was able to get out and put a few rounds through my new M&P15 Sport today. I was able to get my iron sights and Primary Arms Microdot sighted in at 25 yards (1" low). I had 1" 3 round groups at 25 yds and was able to blow the upper half of a 6" circle out at 50 yds. At 50 I only used the red dot which seemed to cover up most of the target. My right eye doesn't allow me to see a nice round dot anymore so I'm pretty happy with the accuracy of this rifle. I fired 60 rounds of Federal 5.56 ball without any problems. This rifle is a true joy to shoot. I can't wait to get back out to our local private range and start ringing the 100 yd steel plates using my iron sights and the red dot.

Congrats on your new Sport! Good to read that you had a good 1st outing with your new rifle. The PA Microdot has a 3MOA dot. I've had a PA M3 Clone with the same 3MOA dot, and the dot does cover up most of a target at distance but combat accurate for sure.

My sport with a PA micro shoots circles around my Spikes midlength with an aimpoint Ml3.

I'm really enjoying the 1:9 melonite barrel for 55-62 grain bullets.

I love my sport! just shot it for the first time yesterday. very accurate rifle I'm thinking of getting a red dot for it, sight mark ultra shot. for my needs thats plenty. im not as advanced for a 450 eotech or aimpoint yet.
