Default New M&P 15TS

Here are some pic's of my first AR I just got. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. Debating on what type of optic to put on it.

Aimpoints are great optics. You can normally find a Pro for around $400.

Welcome. Very nice, with something that Tact-i-cool, Aimpoint, Eotech on the high end side, Primary Arms, Vortex, for economic options ( if you're looking at red dots). If you're looking at scopes, Leupold, Nikon, Millet, and pick your magnifications.

Good Luck and good shooting.

Congratulations, very nice rifle. I put a Trijicon tr24-3g on my moe mid and absolutely love it. The 1-4 power is perfect for me. On 1x its perfect for 0-100yds and 4x gets me out to 300yds.A 1-4 or 2-7 power scope is in my opinion the best all round optic for the ar15 platform. If you don't plan on shooting farther than a 100yds ,a red dot sight will work. Red dots-(high end) aimpoint (low end) Bushnell trs-25. Scopes-($500+) Trijicon or Zeiss ($499&under) Leupold, vortex and Nikon.

Tr24 is awesome... the chevron is about as quick as anything I have ever used. Not much for holdover... but for a point and click 200yd gun the tr24 is about as good as it gets.

I'm a huge fan of trijicon optics. They're expensive but well worth it to me.

That is an excellent looking weapon. I am considering it myself. What length gas tube is on it? Carbine or Mid...
Thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure it is considered a carbine length gas system.

Great looking rifle!!! Aimpoint or EOTech would serve you well......I would highly recommend dialing in your MBUS first and get a feel for the gun. Love that modular rail!!!
