Default Sight Adjustment

It seems that the rear sights on both my AR type rifles (no matter what style sight) are just about all the way to the right on windage adjustment. The question is, after a lifetime of shooting, am I becoming deformed, cross eyed or more conservative? It seems in days of old I could center the rear aperture and be just fine. This is a curiosity I would like to have your comments on. For a old guy with tri-focals, I shoot fairly well. Maybe I'm starting to lean with age. Or just plain fall over.

My astigmatism causes me to need about 4-6" left windage at 100 yards, regardless of rifle.

You're not alone.
