Default New Sport owner!

Thought I would post the obligatory pic of my new sport! Went to the range last night and it shoots like a dream. I didn't have to adjust the windage at all but need to raise the front post a little as I am hitting fairly low out of the box. Cant wait to put more rounds through it!

er...lower the front post maybe, if you want to raise the POI.

And the sickness begins. Wrap your wallet with duck tape.

Enjoy ,

Congrats on your new rifle. I purchased the same model rifle this past Monday. Just ordered some additional magazines, reloading dies and components for reloading. New ammo is expensive.

I went down to myou local gun store to buy a bushmaster and got talked into my m& p sport. Got it for 600. Never owned one before. I hope I made a good choice. I was worried about the price. And reliability and quality being the bushmaster was 700.

I also looked at a Bushmaster, a Ruger, DPMS and a Sig Swat.

Welcome, you've done well. The general rule of thumb is you get what you pay for, with the Sport, you always get more.

My sport is about 4 years ago shortly after they first came out. I have about 1500 rounds through it. Paid $650 before the madness started. I have never had an issue with it. Being a lefty, I do not miss the forward assist getting in the way of my Raptor charging handle.
