The only regret I have ever had about my M&P 15 was that I didn't just build an ar. Would of saved me a ton of money after everything I have done to this gun.

Colt has been flirting with bankruptcy off and on for the past twenty years - ever since they snubbed the civilian market to focus on military contracts. When those contracts dried up (for them) they had nothing to fall back on - it all started with a retired general named William Keys...

Lol that price alone makes me want to build one. Actually I think what I'm planning on doing is building an ar out of all the parts I take off and out of the m&p. Figure by the time I'm done with it I'll just need the barrel upper and lower. Either way I wouldn't say that I regret it though. This was my first ar and its been a valuable learning experience at least.
