Default M&P15 Spare Parts

With my new Sport I hope I do not have to worry about this now, but for future needs what would be a good selection of spare parts to have on hand, I.E.- springs, extractors, pins, ect.. And will any AR spares kit work or will the parts have to come from S&W.

I ask this only to start looking ahead not that I am expecting any trouble.

The Sport uses standard AR parts, so any manufacturers should work.

You can get spare parts kits from almost any of the manufacturers. I keep a set plus a complete bolt. I've never had to use any of the spares, but have loaned the bolt out a couple of times when a fellow competitor broke something during a match.

It might be a good idea to have a spare bolt. Not necessarily the entire Bolt Carrier Group, just the bolt assembly. And/or spare Extractor, ejector, and springs. Not much else is going to wear out any time soon. Maybe a spare bolt catch. And of course magazines.

This is a good little inexpensive kit to have on hand

Just buy a spare AR-15. One is none. Two is one.
