I have an M&P 15 MOE and looking to get a suppressor. I was wondering if the Gemtech Halo would fit on the flash hider without having to get a new one. I was also told if I did have to remove it the stock flash hider will unscrew......
First, Welcome to the forum! According to the Gemtech site, the Halo will attach directly to the stock flash suppressor. The Birdcage that comes on the M&P's is basically the same as those used by the military, so there should be no problem.
Thanks for the input. I didn't know if the Halo would attach to the stock flash suppressor or not because when I was watching the review on the Gemtech website it looked like the A2 flash hider and not what comes with the M&P 15 MOE.

The best advice is to call Gemtech and ask since the flash suppressor on your rifle is different than the A2 style that comes on most of the M&P 15 line.
