Default M&P Sport AR15 or 617-6 .22lr Revolver?

would you sell a SW617 4" revolver to buy a SW AR15 or another AR? I love the revolver but do not have a rifle in .223. I do have two .22lr rifles and could sell my Henry GB & a NIB Mossberg 500 Flex Tactical version also, but that would leave me without a shotgun also. Assume I don't want to wait to save up for it.

It depends what you like. I'm not into 22lr. I have one rifle in thay cal collecting dust. Rarely if ever shoot anything in 22lr so I would trade or sell the 617 for a AR

Well, if Mossy is "NIB", you're not shooting it anyway, so get rid of it and get something you'll shoot. Now, the GB, that's another story. At some point I'd think you would regret it.
I can't imagine selling a revolver unless I had two of the same, I'm into acquiring revolvers presently. They were woefully under-represented in my safes, and at the range.
But then, I've got 4 ARs. I guess I can't really relate to your dilemma. Good luck with your decision!

I have a .22 handgun but I never shoot it. The reasons being ammo is hard to find and I have other larger handguns that I like to shoot. I love my Sport. It is one of my favorites.

No.

Since I'm not into AR/AK platform, and am looking for a 617 at a fair price locally, maybe I should say YES!!!

If the AR will fill a niche you do not currently have, I'd say do the trade. If not, and you only want it for the sake of having it, I'd say no. It would be easy yes for me since I prefer rifles over handguns. If the revolver your trading has any sentimental value or is rare I'd say trade something else because you'll regret it. ARs are a dime a dozen but I think everyone should at least have one modern sporting rifle whether it be an AR or AK platform.
