Default Waiting

I sent my M&P 15 sport in the repair shop on 06/16/2015 and I am to receive it back today. I had the strange key holing problem with it and they said they replaced the gas block and barrel and test fired no issues.
I am excited to get it back and see what they did to it, and go shoot it. They didn't mess around they had it for only 1 week and a few days. I cannot believe that they got it repaired so quickly. I hope I don't have anymore issues and it lasts me now.

Best of luck with the repair.
Looking forward to hearing how it shoots.

I'm curious to see how it shoots. I would shoot it without the muzzle brake first.

S&W put back on my Muzzle brake they said that the throat was out of alignment somehow, and something with the front sight post gas block was off also.

Default It's back

Here is some pics of the targets after I got it back, I had to sight back in my carry handle. The shoot and see target was with 18 rounds at 50+ yards with irons. The other target was at 60+ yards and the two shots that are circled in red where my first 2 shot the rest are after a slight adjustment. I was shooting bench and standing up on both targets, not to bad but I know I can do better.

Yep, could use some practice, but not bad. I'm glad it's working for you.

Sounds like the muzzle brake was an issue.

S&W replaced my barrel and the front sight post gas block A2. They put back on my Jerry Miculek muzzle brake that was on it. S&W said there was something wrong with the throat that it was out of spec and there was a issue with the gas block A2 post. Those target pics where with the same old brake that I did have on it. When I shot it before I sent it back to S&W I shot it without the brake at 25 feet and 120 round key holed on me.
I am glad to have it back I just hope that this barrel last a lot longer than the 1st one. Also the way I see it I am still within the MOD (minute of Death) on those targets if I was hunting or in a defense situation. I know I am better just need to shoot it more, also got to get used to the carry handle, was using the Magpul pop up rear sight.

Ooops, I misread your previous post. Sorry for that. I guess it wasn't the brake after all.

Still glad you got it fixed up. Have fun with it.
