Default M&P 15 Cosmetic Issues

Anyone else's M&P 15 come with a few minor cosmetic issues? Some of the paint from the flash hider and deflector was chipped to wear I could see silver. The finish also seems to wear off really fast. This a known thing? Already contact SW but they are taking forever to respond.

Sounds like normal wear to me. Corners and other sharp surfaces loose their finish first. Watch any news show about our troops in the middle east and you will see where a M16 rifle loses finish from normal wear.

The deflector will always lose finish because it's doing its job by deflecting the cases. Some people stick the fuzzy part of Velcro on the deflector to prevent the finish loss, but again, it's normal wear.

Sounds good. It's a tool anyway, as long as it goes bang and hits the target I don't care much. Gives me an excuse to go to the range and verify that.
