M&P 15 sport with SLIDE FIRE SBS 15
Hello, tried to install my new slide fire on my sport today, it won't slide freely, it says to take the castle but loose on the buffer tube and it will align itself and then re-tighten. Is there a trick to loosen that castle nut??? Special tool??. Also anyone tried a slide fire on there m&p? Thanks fellers

Yes. The trick is that the castle nut is staked. Peen back the staking and you should be able to rotate the castle nut.

This! I didn't need to touch the castle nut let alone remove the buffer tube to fit my Slidefire SSAR-15, you just replace the grip with the block that comes with it and then it's a direct slide-on replacement for the stock.
