Default Best low capacity magazines

Have a lot of mags, mostly GI with some after market but all are twenty or thirty rounds. What is the best 5 or 10 round made ? I'd like to have a couple only but didn't really want to have to guess on which ones to buy. Thanks,Vonn

As far as ease to load and better fit in the magazine well, Magpul seems to be the favorite. I've run some ASC magazines in my M&P10 and they work fine and are cheaper if you are looking at cost. But the Magpul magazines are nicer. It depends on if you are just looking at function or if you want a little premium as well.

I have 2 Magpul 10-rounders for hunting that have thus far functioned perfectly in both of my ARs.

I have five Magpul Gen 2 10 round magazines and they work great. I like then for range work as they aren't hanging down so far and after 10 rounds the barrel needs to cool anyway. I have 20 and 30 round magazines also for other things and I have a mix of those and they all work fine.

For 10 rounders I would say Magpul. I have some 5 round Bushmaster aluminum mags that have been good. I have a couple of 5 round Cproducts mags that have improved with use.

I have 5 round C Products Defense mags in 6.8 and 5.56 for use off the bench. I've never had an issue.

I also bought Magpulls when NYS banned hi-capacity mags. So far, 100% reliable
