M&P Sport 2 front sight interference at 1x with Primary Arms 1-6x?
I recently ordered a Sport 2. I want to add the Primary Arms 1-6 scope. I understand that I'll need a scope mount, but will I also need a riser for the front sight to not interfere at 1x?
I've read that at higher magnifications, the front sight will be so out of focus that I won't really see it. So it's the lower magnifications that I'm wondering about...

The need for a riser has nothing to do with interference with the front sight and everything to do with proper cheek weld. The crosshairs on the scopes I have mounted on my AR's appear to be at the very top of the sight tower. And yes, above 4x, you won't see the sight tower.
Even if you can see the front sight below the crosshairs at low magnification, it won't interfere with using the scope.
This is 100% correct. As for a riser I've found the Burris PEPR to actually be truly Perfect just as it's acronym (Perfect Eye Position Riser) indicates. I've also found the Quick Detach version will repeat within about 3/8 MOA so it's a great option for a rifle you want to spend time shooting with iron sights.
