Default Who has ?

On your AR who has a Red Dot with raised Scope rings so you can use Iron sights or Red Dot? I know the Red Dot will Co Witness the front sight!
I use raised mounts w/a Scope on my 10/22 and with my big head (Not George Lopez BIG :O) no sight issues!
Good Mounts?
Can you get a good Red Dot 100/150$ ?
And Yes very Noob questions for a soon to be Noob, I am assuming a Sport 2 (waiting on LGS Stock)unless I see something else that yell at me
"TAKE ME HOME"
Thanks

You will need the neck of a giraffe if you raise a red dot enough that you can use a see through mount to use the irons. Co-witnessing is fine and actually preferred.

Thanks for the reply. I thought the top of the receiver might be too high ! You save me for wasting $$$ on mounts

Had a Colt LE 6940 with iron sights and an EOTECH holographic sight which co-witnessed to a T. Sighted the rifle in with the iron sights and then mounted the EOECH and adjusted it in to match the front sight in my living room. POI for first group of five was 3" high and correct azimuth at 200 yds.

I have a Primary Arms Advanced Micro Dot that is co-witnessed to my iron sights. I'm very satisfied with this set up.
