Default Scope advice

Need advice from those that have a scope. I'm looking for a good scope (approx $200) for my MP15.....one that can go on & off without much of a problem...and preferably one that can also be used on my S&W Bone Collector 460. Any advice?

A scope made for a rifle and a scope made for a pistol are two different animals, as a pistol will require a long eye relief scope...

Unless what you really mean is an optic, like a red dot sight... not a "scope".

There is a thread right below this one that is all about red dots. Try using the search function also. I think this is the 3-4 thread on them in a week.

Nikon P223 3x9x40 or its carbine companion can be had for under $200 and either one can be mated to good, inexpensive quick detach mounts.
I have the former on a Sport and it comes on and off and holds zero pretty well.

Check out the Bushnell Trophy Bone Collector at PSA, 70 bucks shipped, that line is being blown out. Great scope, 3-9x40, I've got two, easy to zero and holds it. Has as fine a cross hair as my Nikon scopes, finer than the Bushnell AR scopes.
