But loading 3/500 rounds can be a bit for the thumb:crazy: ,, Most of us Love the UPLULA line of goodies, and while board ans surfing the web I was looking at AR 15 loaders and they ran 50/75$ or more.. Saw 5this MAGLULA at MIDWAY for 26$ so what they heck, Grabbed one. Received it today and had to try it. WOW WOW WOW talk about simple and FAST  It is as easy as the video shows,1 awesome tool Just my 2 cents

This is basically what I have been using for sometime, StripLULA. It works with stripper clips are without, but I like that concept as well. M-16 / AR- 15 NATO 5.56 StripLULA magazine loader - YouTube

I've used the Maglula for the AR15 and I'm not impressed. For unloading it can't be beat. I much prefer the StripLULA. It's simple and much faster than the other though I haven't see a head-to-head test yet.

As a AR noob I never used the Strip Lula so I can not compare! But I agree after loading the strips you can rip off a ton of mags at the range! The good thing is we all have our favorite thing to use ,and to hear about how and what people use is very interesting to me!

I have one of these too, it's definitely a handy little tool, where it really shines though is unloading magazines, just hold the mag over your ammo can and rock the handle back and forth and out the rounds come, SO much easier than pushing rounds out of the mag by hand

I have to agree unloading is a snap And I can load with 1 hand on the mag ad flip the lever with 1 finger and fill a mag in no time ,, For the amount I shoot it is fine. But if I ever shoot competition of a ton the Strip Lula looks like a great idea as well
Thanks for all the replies

I also like the MagLula mag loader for 10 & 20 rnd mags, at the range. Quick and easy. For the 30 & 40 rounders I made my own loader out of wood. Works great. Costs nuthin'.

OP, I have one of those. It works great on Magpul Pmags, but it doesn't work very well with metal mags. Haven't tried it with Lancers yet.

I have seen the Home Made wood ones on You Tube pretty cool and they work great May have to try and build one one day

I have one of those too. More of a novelty than anything. It works, but its cumbersome. Not something you'd want to take to the range.

It is a pretty cool tool, and yes a little cumbersome , but when the fingers get tired it will be a plus for me
