Nice sight but I paid less at a local gun shop with no waiting and no shipping. I wouldn't post something like this ordinarily but I've had issues with OP (like charging me a lot more for a Weaver T-36 scope I ordered from them than the price they advertised and not even telling me until 3 days before Christmas and besides that they said they couldn't meet the pre-Christmas delivery they had promised - I still managed to cancel that order and get another one delivered before Christmas for almost $100 less than they tried to charge me).

If I order from them again I will double check the price, Thanks for the heads up.. The Avg. price I was finding was 175$.. I try and buy local if the price is not a big difference! All my guns come from a LGS.

I bought one from Optics Planet along with the Vortex magnifier, very nice setup, adds a little weight but, not much. I like the flip mount on the magnifier, frees up rear flip sight .

Thumbs up

Arm.I have ordered from OP before as well.. SO far I have been happy but a lower price on anything is good when you can find them I mounted it last night and feels good on my Sport as well.. Not much added weight! The magnifier looks good as well.

I wish I could say the same about Optics planet. I ordered a Sparc AR sight and then was informed that it was 6-7 weeks out before they would ship it. Add in another 5-7 days for shipping and I didn't want to wait that long. I cancelled the order and it took 5 working days before the hold for the funds was removed from my account. I ended up purchasing from Bass Pro and ended up paying a $14 more but had it in 4 days. In actuality I didn't have to pay more because I used some of the accumulated points I had from shopping at Bass Pro to equalize the price. That purchase also netted me about $5 more in points value from Bass Pro for future puchases.

If this was a one time thing from Optics Planet for me I might not be upset with them. Problem is I ordered from them about a year ago and had the same experience.

5 days from Illinois to Maine is not what I'd call fast, transit time should be no more than 3 business days, that's average I'd say, long as you're happy right?

Bummer you had a couple bad sales from them.. I have purchased 2 times with no issues. guess my timing was a bit better.. but I would be ticked if your orders happened to me

5 days is really not bad as rarely does anyone ship right after you order, How fast should have been in your eyes? 2/3 days? I do not think that would happen! So shipping in a day or 2 after a order is normal. As for 5 days the Ship Fed Ex Fed Ex transfer to USPS to delivery so you can add a day or 2 there as well! so again IMO 5 days is good,, If someone wants instant in hand then you buy local . For me a 1/2week wait is fine ! Also we have a choice buy form some one or not, some will like a company some will not ,
