Default Upgrade

I'm wanting to replace the stock, hand guards and pistol grip on my sport II. I want to use Magpul parts. Which hand guard fits the sport II? And is there a replacement grip that is designed the same as the stock grip that came on it?

I would get a MOE set unless you want to free float the rail. They run about $70 give or take and will drop right in. They offer them in multiple colors and patterns.

If you want to free float the rail you will have to remove the A2 front post and the gas block. You will have to replace the gas block with a low profile block and then install the rail. It is not a hard process but it is more involved than the drop in Moe parts kit.

^^ what he said.

Additionally - the carbine length handguard is a direct drop in for the Sport II. Don't go mid-length or rifle, they're too long.

Get the CTR instead of the MOE if you want that style stock, the MOE is a notoriously rattely fit.

What do you mean by "designed the same"? Most pistol grips will fit, are you looking for something like the stock grip with finger grooves?
