I was looking at the Atibal MCRD II and Atibal magnifier combo. Anyone have any input?

Never heard of it... I would recommend going with something from Primary Arms in this price point.

Also, not a fan of the magnifiers. If you need magnification, get a scope with magnification. Red dots are meant for fast acquisition and unlimited eye relief. Adding a magnifier behind them negates these advantages and is a compromise solution.

What Cyphertext said, plus a magnifier adds a lot of unneeded weight and bulk. A good compromise is a nice 1x4 or 1x6 scope, gives you red dot plus magnification in one unit.
