Wet or Dry? M&P Sport 2
What is your opinion on bcg wet or dry?
It seems my smith runs a lot better dry (minimal lube on contact areas only). And I mean minimal! Thanks in advance

Oh boy, you just open that can of worms again! Opinions vary. It depends on a lot of different factors. A trip to the range to pop off 50-100 rounds or so, you can probably get by with less lube. Strings of fire of 200 or more rounds in a sandy, dirty, grimy environment you will probably want more lube. Then there is the oil vs bearing grease argument but I digress.

Minimal. To much attracts and hold debris, dust, sand, dirt, etc..
Same goes for all firearms, not just the AR. IMHO of course.

I agree with @ChattanoogaPhil's chart. You don't need it dripping wet.

I use a product called Super Lube. It is a very temperature insensitive dielectric silicone lube. You can buy it at most electrical supply places or Harbor Freight.

Light lube, I lubed my bolt with grease, and after firing just a few rounds, it was dripping wet and smoking.... From then on, I use no grease, and very light oil. Too much oil or grease attracts dirt, and soot anyway, probably more damaging that not enough lube.

I always put several drops of CLP in the piston chamber through the carrier exhaust ports, making sure I get some on the rings also. Makes cleaning the carbon out a breeze.
I run the BCG wet, any excess will be shortly expelled. And I do grease the slide rails on the Bolt carrier. Oil only if I have no grease.

On page 38 of the S&W M&P-15 owner's manual, the manufacturer recommends:
"After cleaning, lightly coat the metal parts, internal and external with a high quality firearms oil."

In just gave my AR a good cleaning after running 400 rounds through it "couldn't stop myself" and lubed everything in the chart above.
BTW Cool chart!
