Been enjoying shooting my Sport II from the bench and working on loads. Stock trigger was decent enough to show the potential of this Sport II. Trigger break was fairly clean and smooth. However, the stock pull weight was not the best for accuracy.
Research boiled down to either the G2S or the LaRue MBT2S. Decided to go with the LaRue-mainly by coin flip. Ordered it around thanksgiving on sale. Got it right before Xmas, since I didn't need the rush shipping.
Finally got to put it in, and so far been very impressed. Dry firing is showing a light clean trigger. Haven't had the chance to live fire, as we've just gone through 9 days of rain and everything is soaked. Mountains east of here got 9'+ of snow in the 9 days.
Installation was a breeze. And may be easier than the normal AR trigger, as the disconnecter is pinned in eliminating one step. Hopefully, will be able to get out to the range early next week before the storms hit again.
