Anybody have pictures of their M&P 15 targets?
Post pictures of your targets if you have them. Please include the rifle type, distance shot at, ammo type, irons or optics, if your optic is magnified and whether you were standing or sitting at a bench. I'm curious to see what people and the guns are capable of. I'll be going to the range next week so hopefully I'll have some targets to share when I get back.

Shot this at between 125-150 yds. from a M&P 15 PS (Piston) from a bi-pod rest. Trigger is a Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E). Optic is a Nikon P-223 3-9x 40mm BDC scope. Ammo is my reloads using 24 grains of AR Comp powder, pushing a Hornady 55 grain bullet.

Here are my targets from today's range trip. Both targets were shot sitting at a table. This rifle was zeroed with AE 55gr .223 so a three shot group was all that's needed. Today was the first time that I've shot PMC X-TAC 62gr green tipped 5.56x45 in this rifle so I shot a five shot group. In total I shot about 100 rounds today but I wanted to get some groups on paper so people can see what the Sport 2 is capable of. If my eyes weren't so bad and I had a proper rest I'm sure that the groups would be tighter.

Thx ... at 100 yrds I was using every bit of magnification I could get (6x) ... at 50 yrds its usually 3-4 x
My eyes are shot ... 60 years old and reading a computer screen for 20 years everyday will do that to you

Removed because it wasn't from an M&P15. I will repost in the "Other Guns" forum.

No spectacular target or anything, but it was surprising. (Disregard the handgun rounds that I littered the target with later) Shooting from 100yds at this target on a large piece of cardboard to make sure I got the rail installed straight (comparing windage from a 20yd zero to 100yds to make sure I'm in line), I was able to figure out that I was high at 100yds due to the rise of the bullet.
So I took a 6 o'clock hold with the battle sight off of bags and shot about 7rds. Blew my mind that 4 of those packed into that one spot using the Mbus sights at that distance. I guess I had a consistent hold or something for 4. Pretty sure the others went high (the one below was from a different string), and likely are the little punches on the upper target edge, but I left fairly impressed with the Sport II.

M&P Sport II, 100yds off a bag on the tailgate of my truck. Sightmark Ultra Shot M-Spec 2MOA non magnified, 55gr bulk Independence, stock trigger. First 5 are X'd, second 5 are circled. That first 5 may have been 50gr 223, I can't remember, but they are all higher than the 2nd group so likely so. Without magnification, you just kind of try and center that dot on the paper from that distance.
Sig M400, 100yds w/American Eagle 50gr HP, Leatherwood CMR4 1-4, Black Rain drop in trigger.
