If you're thinking it's the old M&P15OR it's not. GrabAGun listed it correctly as the Sport II Optics Ready.

Not sure how you want your AR to end up looking like .. type of forearm rail .. optics etc ..
But since your a Vet you qualify for Bud's discount .. I just bought this Tactical model .. a Magpul Quad Rail and Magpul sights .. Very good price on this with the Vet discount .. you just have to have your DD214 and send a copy to them to qualify ....
S&W M&P15T 16" MAGPUL TACTICAL $0.00 SHIPS FREE
Bud's has other S&W Sport II models available also yu might be interested in ....

I only see a few items on the OR AR that are different from the Sport II. Chrome barrel, sights, and, hand guard. To me, that does not designate me spending over $200 for the OR. I can take that money and buy ammo for my Sport II and still feel I came out ahead of the OR.

Huh? The OR does not come with sights. OR = Optics Ready.
