I shot some of this in a couple of ARs last year; wasn't impressed with the accuracy, but it may be better than some of the other bulk stuff.

What sub $.30 bass cased ammo are you shooting that gives you better accuracy?

Works fine for me! Can hit man size target center mass off hand at 300 yards. Works for me.

Sorry, wvsig, wasn't aware it was forbidden; just responding to a question, not delving into handloading data.

Thanks for the heads up. I use PMC Bronze and it is a bit more but is excellent ammo and it is also 5.56 so you get a little more powder and each bullet primer is sealed

I've been getting Independence 5.56 off midway at $152/500 + shipping and had good enough results out of it.

I buy Wolf steel case ammo only. It does what I need it to do when I need it to. I get it shipped to me for $220.90 per 1K rounds from SGAmmo.com. My son usually buys brass case ammo and I usually buy some off of him, when I feel the need to shoot it.

I was completely joking. No issues with talking reloads here.

Shipping is $32 for me. Still a good deal for brass cased ammo.

The Bushmaster I had years ago got 100rds of S&B through it and nothing else but steel case Wolf in the time I had it. A little over 2000rds I think in my time. I think I had 3 overlaquered casings that didn't feed out of all that. Of course I was buying 1000rds for under $100 from Cabelas then.
Since I got another AR 4 years back, the only Steel I've had was Tula, and a lot of it had cycling issues so I stopped buying it.

Shot this last fall with Wolf Gold, about .8". My handloads do better but I don't have a problem with this factory ammo.

Seems to be a lot more vendors are dropping down below $300 delivered.
