Just got back from somewhat of a private range (no watchmen, can rapid fire etc)..
Anyway, I took my Pmag, another similar mag I picked up at a show, both of which I have fired a fair amount of rounds out of with ZERO issues so far, But I also dragged along an old actual Military mag just to see if it works good..
Well, a few rounds or so into the Military Mag I had a jam, a BAD jam, try as I may, I could not get the charging handle to Pull back.. Well not at first anyway, it took some pretty hard jerks before it finally broke loose and I got the shell out, which was literally bent, near the shell case/bullet area..
Question is... could simply going into battery actually bend a bullet and cause this (Due to mag issue) or would it be more likely it was just a lemon shell?
the Ammo is Eagle ammo, which is a local company that does reloads, also new.. I got a few friends who swear by um, and have NEVER had any issues with any of their ammo, be it 223's 9mm etc, and they shoot a LOT!..
so I am a bit hesitant on placing blame on the ammo, but even if it is the ammo, it can happen with bulk ammo, not sure I would say this is super rare, but..
thoughts?
