Going Cal. Legal Pt 2
Just after thanksgiving, started a thread about what we have to go through out here in Ca. to be legal. Finally finished going featureless. Didn't want to go maglock/fixed mag setup because of questions about issues if a jam occurred. Mainly safely trying to clear one.
And wasn't about to go RAW, because of the restrictions there.
After installing a Magpul fixed carbine stock, and a comp, that left the pistol grip. Looked over the various options, and decided to go with the Strike Industries Simple featureless Grip. If I have to change later, it was only 9.95+tax and shipping.

Would be nice, but the money out here backs the libs. And money allows you to control the media. That means you can convince enough people.......

Going Cal. Legal Pt 2
I don't know how you guys do it.
There's a member that hangs out in the 3rd Gen section (in MD I think) he's always talking about the crazy laws he has to deal with.
Can you post a like to your first thread?
I will like to check it out.

Going Ca legal WIP
It's either make the adjustments to comply, or give in to people that are of the opinion that they know what's best. Enjoy shooting too much, and want to make sure the wife and I are safe no matter what happens.

Thankfully most of the police don't care about these stupid restrictions.

Can't vouch for other parts of the state, but it was the Sac PD that set the LE guidelines for the state the last time. Plus, our Sheriff is at least willing to grant CCW's.
At least now, I can get rid of that stupid bullet button.

Wow, I feel sorry for you guys out there. In Texas, you have to be 18 to buy rifle ammo and 21 to buy pistol ammo. That's about the only restriction. You can buy as much as you can carry or up to the store's limit. Some places still have 500rd limit on 22LR.

You have our sympathy from the gun loving states, like the great state of KY I live in. My father in law wanted his ccdw, took his class on a Saturday, turned his stuff in online on Monday, Tuesday he was approved, the next Friday he had his permit....

Thank you for the sympathies fellas. We are well aware that other states are more gun friendly.
The sad part is these laws aren't enacted to make the public safer; it's only to gain votes. That's enough before I get banned.

My thanks as well. Part of my reasoning for starting this entire thread was to keep everyone in a state that respects the Constitution informed. The more you know, the better you can fight.
