Default Forward positioned light mount

Does anyone know where I can find a light mount for a surefire light (1" body) that can preferable mount directly to an Mlok rail or to a 1913 rail and position the light forward of the mount.

I want to mount my light on the middle bottom end of my hand guard, close to the muzzle, and have it pushed forward so it allows me to still grip the end of the guard but access the switch from either hand no matter which side I'm shooting from.

All the ones I've found put the light right there where it connects to the hand guard and that last few inches of real estate on the guard is where I grip.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Take a look at Impact Weapons Components. He makes a bunch of light mount solutions that push the light out beyond the handguard.

Not sure if this is something you might be interested in, but..
(please disregard the red measurement reference in my pic) and yes, my particular Flashlight is a monstrosity.. LOL!

It is made for 1in flashlights, but also comes with shims if you end up with a smaller light..

This is probably what you need. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and the extended mounts are there. For $11.95 you can have a mount for m-lok, key-mod, or picatinny.

Buy Ncstar Low Profile Laser

I don't know how to make a link hot, so just copy and paste it into your browser.

I have the Elzetta mount on my AR's and we have them installed on our police department AR's too.

I put a 1000lm Cisno light with remote on the M1 Carbine using a barrel mount. The light came with a pic mount that fits the 1" diameter light. I just had to buy the barrel mount. I have it mounted so the light front is about 1" back from the muzzle and doesn't light up the barrel. Well, except for a small patch on the bottom. But I can't see it when in use. It's super bright and I don't have to take my hand off the fore stock to turn it on and off. The light uses a 18650 rechargeable Li-ion battery.

Perhaps a 1" scope mount would work for you.

Ops! Looks like you have it solved already.
I stopped typing to go check my setup then got side tracked. Sorry.

I want to thank you guys for the recommendations. I got the new mount on and it works perfect. Leaves me room for my forward grip and allows me to actuate the light with either hand.

That looks really good on your gun. Glad to have been a help.
