Default Mental Therapy for the Simple Minded ( Me )

Happiness to me is..... Indenting steel with my S&W Sport 15 on a beautiful day.

Federal XM193 5.56 and Wolf Gold .223 55 gr. JHP

From 60 yards seated shooting off a knee.

10" x 8" x 1/2" Plate.

A word of caution here geo57. A ricochet of a steel plate can easily come back 60 yards with enough velocity to cause damage. The craters from previous shots increase the possibility.

Nice to see a box stock rifle once in awhile.

Once had a .45 slug bounce back into the side of my hunting lease truck using piled cords of mesquite as back stop. Went in and came straight back at us and banged into the truck from 25 yards. We found a better backstop!

angling the target 20% forward will cause the splash to hit the ground and make the targets at least 2X as safe !! also allowing shooting at a closer distance and remain safe !!
