A grip adapter or a comfortable replacement grip ?
Can someone recommend a rubber grip adapter or a comfortable replacement grip for Sport II ? I like the angle of the stock grip but find it a bit hard / uncomfortable.

I like the Magpul MOE Plus grip which has a rubber cover instead of hard plastic. It appears that Midway USA has them on sale today.

Magpul Plus^^^^^ or a Hogue Overmoulded. Hogue slides over whats there so it will be a fatter cushion grip.
Talon grip or the "other" one. (sorry, oldtimers moment)
I like Tennis Racket Wrap from Wallyworld myself.
Depends on size of hands and what yer lookin for

I have Hogue without the beavertail. The beavertail leaves a gap where it meets the 15-22 receiver. I like it a bunch and it fits perfectly.

Had a Magpul K2+ on mine and was quite pleased with the grip texture and angle. The grip is a little more vertical then the stock grip, but was more comfortable to shoot. Unfortunately, had to replace it so as to make my Sport II featureless. At least going featureless allowed me to get rid of the bullet button. Nice to be able to drop mags with the simple push of the mag release.

Great grip. Only thing is the grip angle seems greater than stock which I am adapting to.
Just my impression.

MOE + should be similar to the OE grip angle, the MOE K2+ should have the steeper grip angle. I love both of these grips, bt have been using the K2s more and more.

Just looked at some comparison pics of my Ar with the stock grip and the new grip I linked above, they appear to be the same, angle wise.. if not, VERY close..

Hogue overmold for me. It feels thinner than the MOE style to me (replaced the stock MOE with one actually) and that was what I liked about it aside of the standard Hogue texture. I did get the beavertail on both the the Hogues that I have because I liked that part of my old MOE grip.
Cousin got the STI Scorpion I think it was. Not for me. Hard front side with a squishy rubber back side. Its almost like a wad of gum back there. If you hold the rifle in one hand and just twist your wrist back and forth it flexes from side to side like nobody's business.
