Have You Changed Your AR Grip Angle
The angle of the grip on the AR-15 just doesn't feel right to me .. Feels like I am forcing the angle and its doesn't feel natural ..
Am looking at getting a different grip but am unsure of which to get !!
If you have changed the angle on your AR grip which one did you go to ? make and angle how was the fit of the grip ..
Is anyone using one that can be adjusted between I believe 17º/25º/ and 33º .. how solid is the feel ?? Is there any movement/wobble in the grip ?? Is the grip handle enclosed for use for storage?? How was the fit on your AR ??
Am thinking of going with the adjustable one to allow the variety of grip angles all according to the use of the AR ..

Have always been satisfied with the standard angle but I use my AR's from the shoulder old school fashion. The run and gun game guys use different styles of shooting methods and equipment may need to be modified to work for them. Let us know what you find that works for you and why. Always looking for something better.

The grip angle feels natural to me. I do have a few different grips on six ARs though. Besides two A2 grips (which I do like) I have an RRA marked Hogue (that came on my RRA Tactical Entry, a Magpul MIAD, an MOE and an MOE+.
I've never tried any others.

If you want steeper for a more compact hold, look at the Magpul MOE K2. Awesome grip, I have them on 2 of my rifles.

∆∆∆ This, I also prefer the K2 grip, way more comfortable of a grip angle especially when shooting for longer periods of time in my opinion.
Magpul K2
Magpul MOE+ (standard grip angle)

I like the Bravo Company grips. Pretty much the same angle as the Magpul K grip but feels better to me.

I actually tried one of the BCM grips and didn't like it anwhere near as much as the Magpul. (if anyone wants a BCM Mod 2 ANIB grip I'm selling it here in the classified ). I much prefer the rubbery grips of the Magpul.

My Sport I feels a bit forward. My AR-556 is set back a few degrees then the Sport I grip. I prefer the AR-556 angle. I could change the grip on my S1 but I am leaving EVERYTHING factory on that AR.

No.
The grip on my M&P Sport II feels just like the grip on the M-16 I was issued in basic training. Each rifle I have has a different grip angle but after spending time with it, I adapt and so each time I pick it up, the so-called "muscle memory" takes over and it becomes as natural as welcoming an old friend.
Still, a rifle is an inherently personal object so if you aren't satisifed with the grip, you should by all means change it. But it is a decision I don't think any of us can help you with since we can't tell what is going to feel "right" to you. You will probably need to try everal different grips to make the decision.

I like the looks and the angle of the Magpul K2 Grip shown in the picture in comment #5 .. I have what I think is called the A2 Grip .. mine looks like this
https://www.blacklabeltactical.com/a...Z_D8vZtUvo.jpg ..
Have also looked at video of the BCM Gunfighter Mod III Grip and will look at it also because it is a bit wider
It could be the finger tab that may be part of the cause of my dislike as it doesn't fit my finger/hand and would like the grip to fill my hand a little more .. so a grip that is wider might help also !!

Ditto on the K2. I used the K2 to replace my Sport II grip. I felt like I had to hold the original from the side to give a more forward cant grip. It was an awkward feeling. The original might be great if you're shooting from the hip.

Personally I like the angle of the Hogue grip. I have it on both my Ar-15 Sport II and my 15-22. I tried the CAA grip that is more vertical and has adjustable grip panels to fit your hand and I went back to the Hogue. It's just perfect for me.

How is the fit of the MagPul K-2 on the receiver ? picture in comment #5 looks like they fit very tight with no gaps .. does the K2 have a rubbery feel verses the hard plastic feel of the stock grip ??
Does the door on the grip rattle like some ?? or was that fixed with the new version ?? which insert did you go with ?? oil bottle or the battery compartment ?? or the bolt firing pin holder ??

It's a tight fit to the receiver. You can see a little bit of a slight gap where the extra grip angle is added under the backing plate but very little at least with the few lowers I used it on. There is no rattle from the grip core door. I have a grip core for 2 extra CR123's for my WML and one for 2 extra AAA batteries for my SPAR AR. I usually have the AAA's in bc I'm mostly shooting out doors during the day with my red dot. The one for CR123's rattles a little bit if I remember correctly because there is some space left in the core and there is some movement available. As far as grip texture the standard K2 is the one pictured you can also get the K2+ which has the rubber grip coating like the MOE+ I pictured just in the K2 angle.

the Hogue Grip angle looks to be close to the same as stock and I'm not a fan of the finger groves on most weapons .. they usually don't fit my hands/fingers ..
May I ask what is attached to the bottom of the mag in the picture ??

Had the Magpul K2+ on mine and really liked it. It's a little wider and a little taller than the stock grip. Plus with the more vertical angle, it fit my hand much better. Add in the rubberized surface, and it was very much improved over the stock grip.
Would still have it on, but I unfortunately live in California. Since I refuse to register, and don't like the maglocks, featureless was thge only way to go. Linked below is the regs we're looking at right now. Be aware, the PDF is 60 pages.

Thanks !!
I can see how those would help dropping the mag with the extra weight .. Did you have trouble dropping the mag without the added weight ..

I'ts the reason for the "pul" in Magpul. Something to grab onto when pulling mags from pouches. I find them particularly useful with my 20rd mags as in the pic above.

This is the original "Mag"pul"
When installed on the base of a 5.56x45 rifle magazine, the original Magpul provides improved speed and controllability during high stress, tactical magazine changes. Durable synthetic rubber loop with recessed rough gripping surface. Quick and easy installation and removal. Patented design based upon the tried and true para-cord loops and duct-tape tabs currently in use with special warfare units worldwide.

Hogue just came out with a new grip with a 15 degree angle. The original one had about a 22 degree angle I believe (I'm guessing about this exact angle) I have both and use the more angled one for the range toy I have. The 15 degree is on my HD weapon since it makes the rifle more maneuverable in close quarters.

I have the BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 grip (Bravo Co). The angle is about the same as the Magpul K2, but more comfortable.
