Thanks for the heads up. Does this ammo qualify for the rebate that Federal has now? Natchez has a banner on the website saying that it is, but I don't see it on the list Federal has on their rebate form?

Okay, just wanted to let you guys know. I called and this ammo is eligible for the 5 cents a round rebate. That makes this ammo 25 cents a round after the rebate...pretty good deal!

I was a little hesitant about the AE223N not being on the rebate form, I called the Federal Premium Ammunition promotion hotline just to be double sure even though FOX already called.

The lady said it has been added and not to worry that it's not listed on the rebate print out form.

Just called Natchez and they are going to fix my order so that I have free shipping. I've ordered a few things from Natchez and never had a bad experience. Great company!

Yeah $.25 a round, after rebate, for 62 grain brass cased ammo is a great deal. I try to pass along any and all good deals related to AR15s and other guns here and other places. Always happy to help fellow shooters shoot more!

Has anyone been given any shipping info yet from Natchez? My invoice on their website lists the 17th as the ship date, but doesn't list any tracking numbers. I also haven't received any emails that the ammo shipped yet.

I knew nothing of the rebate when I ordered this ammo. Could someone elaborate on how to get the rebate? My case arrive a week ago...

I also have an email into Natchez.

I placed an order on Sunday with Natchez and I got a shipped email on Monday.I got a tracking number and it shows it's on the way to be delivered on Friday.They also sent an email that Federal would honor the rebate even though the part number wasn't on the rebate form.

Update. Ammo delivered Thursday morning by Fedex.Pretty fast.

1. Go to Rebate Center and complete the requested information.
2. Print your completed rebate form and enclose in an envelope with the following
required documents:
a. Original UPC barcode(s) cut from product packaging. Example of UPC
b. Original store identified cash register receipt and/or dated itemized sales
invoice with purchase date, store name/location, purchase price and
item(s) circled.
3. Mail the envelope with your required documents by 09/30/2017 to:

I would call Natchez and see if they can help you out with a properly dated receipts for then follow the normal rebate instructions.

I just called Natchez, because of the high volume of orders the warehouse is backed up. My order from Mon isn't going to ship until tomorrow (Fri), that's why I haven't received a tracking number.

I thought I might have deleted the shipping email.

Am I missing something? $299, free shipping, no tax for 1k rounds. That equals $.299/rnd before rebate of .05 which then brings you to $.249/rnd. For 62 grain, that's a damn good deal.

So I was just in my truck leaving my house to head to the butcher to pick up a brisket to smoke tonight and I see a package on my front porch.

My ammo is here!

Although I called yesterday and they said it wasn't going to ship until today.

So I'm happy I have it, just undecided how I feel that the store wasn't aware it had already shipped and didn't send any shipping info.

This was the first time I ever ordered ammo online and not had to sign for it, is this normal for natchez?

In the past I always got a shipping email but this time I did not. It might be a volume issue who knows but my ammo arrived today.

I order ammo online all the time I never have to sign for it.

Also submitted the rebate online and the system accepted the UPC as valid for the rebate!

Normally I buy from SGammo and have to sign, I've also ordered from Brownells and had to sign.

I see a few bar codes but none with just 12 digits, did you use the one on the main shipping box or off one of the two boxes inside?

Yes and I sent in the UPCs off the the 2 500 count cardboard boxes not the individual boxes. If you look can see the #s match up. Then just print a copy of your invoice from Natchez and you are good to go.

I also noticed that you can do up to 2 submissions per house hold so if some other AE or Independence ammo goes on sale with free shipping before the end of Aug you can still take advantage of it.

This is the best deal I've seen on a name brand ammo in a while. Really .25 cents a round is only a little more than what they charge for metal cased ammo once you factor in shipping.

My ammo said it shipped yesterday, and should be here today.

Also, I've ordered ammo online many, many times, and I've never had to sign for it. With some vendors there is an option to have someone sign for it or not. I always prefer not to have to sign for it so I don't have to be home when they deliver it.

Looking forward to getting that low priced ammo today!

Leave the first and last number off if your using the brown box UPC, on the red 20rd boxes you can see it's the same code. I had to play around with it myself.

I used the online submission form...but all it did was produce a filled out form to mail in, along with the UPC bar codes from each box, and the receipt. I was under the impression that filling out the online form was in place of sending in the stuff by snail mail. Guess not. I wonder if we have to cut each bar code from every single box? I'm going to call tomorrow and ask about that.

I just cut the barcodes from the outer cardboard boxes of 500, that plus the receipt showing the 1k rounds should do it......at least that's what I did. I wasn't about to cut and send it 50 barcodes from the individual boxes.
