I did a 100 group size test with this ammo, two weeks ago, along with other brands and it did not group as well as others.
Test gun: M&P Sport 2 with Vortex Spitfire 3X optic and trigger pull modified and breaks clean at 4.5lbs. Gun was rested on sandbags and a front rest.
Test groups: three, five shot groups, wind speed in gusts of less than 5mph.
Ammunition: Gun was sighted dead on using IMI 55gr fmj and averaged 2 inches. Next up, IMI 62gr Penetrator (steel core), shot to exact same point of aim, but groups opened up to 3 inches. I then tried the Wolf Gold 55gr and it also shot 2 inch groups, but point of aim shifted about low and left, about 2 inches off center. Lastly (so far) we tried the Norma Tac 55gr fmj. It shot odd shaped groups, about 4 inches across. I pulled a bore snake through it, after each brand tested.
If I'd had a more powerful scope, all group sizes would probably tighten up a little, as looking at a 4" target at 100 yards with a 3X magnification, is like quartering fly ***** with the crosshairs.

I guess it all depends on "how you shoot" and "what you shoot for". For me Norma has hit steel targets at 50, 100, 150 & 200 just as well as IMI and Wolf Gold.
If you are shooting for tiny groups at 100 or more you are better off hand loading for your rifle than buying off the shelf ammo. IMHO. When it comes to shooting small groups there are so many variables from rifle to rifle load to load etc... that it is hard to make generalizations from one rifle to another again IMHO.
If Wolf Gold shoots better for you you can also get that at about $.28- $.29 delivered depending on the vendor and the quantity orders.

You have to try a given ammo to know what it will do out of your gun. All of mine seem to like certain loads for sure. When testing ammunition I try to let the gun start from stone cold every time because heat of the barrel has always seemed like a big factor along with ambient temperature. if you are just getting a box or two to check out try to get the same lot number if you can,I have seen some differences between lot numbers. Keep us posted with your results,it's always interesting to see what results others obtain.

went into AIM surplus earlier this week to pick up some Wolf Gold that is on sale but ended up buying 250 rounds of PPU 55 gr. to test it against the Wolf and Geco that I already have.....the Geco has been a solid performer so far

Apparently you need to be an "Edge" member to get this deal. I'm not paying $50/year just to save a few pennies on ammo. SGAmmo still has similar prices and I don't have to pay for the privilege.
