KAC 600M Micro rear flip sight
I am considering purchasing a KAC 600M Micro rear flip sight. However, I have read that some people have had an issue regarding the windage knob moving as the sight is deployed and or folded back down. Has this problem been addressed? Is this a common issue? Could this be the results of the market being flooded with fakes? I would prefer having the micro over the full-size version but not if the windage knob moves when I don't want it to.

I'd say 9-10 if you were not issued the KAC 600M is probably a knock off.

Brownells will not be a knock off product and will be backed by their 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Thanks. I think that makes Brownells worth the price. I'm doing my first build and I've bought everything but the lower from them so far.

You can get great deals at Brownells if you watch their sales and double down with their coupons for % off and free shipping.

True. I have taken advantage of some of those sales. Good deals to be found indeed. I like when they do free shipping. That's when my wish list moves into my cart. I just meant if I can get something a bit cheaper some other place, I would probably still get it form Brownells.

I have a "real" flip up KAC on my SR15 and have not had a problem messing with the windage knob when deploying. I make sure to flip them up by not touching the windage knob. That knob may move just a bit when flipping up, but it does not come out of it's preset detent which means it never really moves out of zero.

With Brownells you will be good, I'm betting the stories you read with negative feedback were bought off amazon or ebay.
