Extended hand guard
Hey guys,finally got my sport II delivered,beginning to think about upgrades,looking at you tube saw some 13"extended drop in rail ,Leaper and VISM,think there are more,any body have any experience with any of these,I like these a lot better than the 6 1/2 " ones.Thanks for your help

I have a 15 inch VTAC on my M&P 15 OR. I'm really happy with it. You would need to change to a low profile gas block.

The ones I'm thinking about are drop ins,with a slot for the A2 front sight

I use the Troy, it's a drop in and also a free float. Only mod you have to do is remove the sling swivel.

I put the drop in UTG extended rail, has the opening for the front sight.

hdrolling,forgive my ignorance,how can it be free float,with just removing the sling mount.All the ones I've seen on you tube either cut down the A2 or install a low profile gas block,thanks

Yes indeed. In fact, I added a laser on top in front of the sight and a light on the bottom when I'm not using my bipod.
