if it feels good than use it. I don't know what your using it for. But if it helps you its a good idea. I use a standard sling. I am not killing ninjas or perps so it does a good job.

I looked at it online and it has a nice cool factor.

I don't have S&W ARs but the Proctor sling is all I run on rifles and they work great. They are a simple 2 point sling, lightweight and easy to manipulate. I need to order some QD attachments to make it even more simple.

This is another item that depends on how you use the rifle. I have one of these on my coyote killer, but it does have QD swivel mounts so I can take it off. However, on my SHTF Sport II, I have this sling because the single point configuration allows for quicker "grab and shoot" action than when it is in the two point mounting configuration. It does require you to change the back plate on the lower in order to use the single point swivel.
