Sighting in my New scope in at 100 yards, first shot put a hole in the center of the left clay. Shot the right clay, broke in half. Went back to the left clay aimed a little low left to break clay. went back to the right clay aimed low left again to hit the thicker part of the clay. Its spot on!

The shooting looks good! How far can you see and how dark was it when you did the night video? About how much time have you put into this project to get to this point?

On how far I can see, haven’t had a chance to go to a open field yet but with the IR that came with the scope and around the house 200 yards. I get a chance today I’ll run down to the 300 Acre corn field and test the distance tonight. I know they have a new IR coming out soon so you’ll be able to see at longer distances.

That night I did the night vision video it was over cast (no moon) it was dark out the time around 11:00 at night.

How much time I have into it, I would estimate around 16 hrs. I’m takening my time so to speak I’m the kind of guy who really know nothing about electronics/computers. Call my kids allot and ask allot of question. And call ATN with questions.

I have found a couple of things out about the scope lately.
They advertise day video at 120fps, mine only has 30fps or 60fps. Called them about this, I was told there still working on it and updated firmware coming.

Tryied down loading pics and videos off my SIM card to my iPhone via card reader, it won’t do it. Only on my home computer I can download pics and videos. Called them about this, I was told there still working on it and updated firmware coming.

And for some reason the other day the scope while ON locked up on me, screen was frozen couldn’t turn scope off. Called ATN he told me to push power botton down for 20sec and it will power down. He said if it keeps happening to give him a call back.

I’m hoping to go coyote hunting tonight if it isn’t raining.

Thanks for the reply. I am interested in how this works out for you as I am thinking about getting equipped for night hog control on my deer lease. I much prefer your information to what is posted on the net. Thanks again and good luck on the coyotes.

Yes they are still in velvet, they’ll start losing there velvet in about 2-3 weeks.
There’s some nice looking bucks running around this year if I get the chance I would like to get a video of bull winkle he’s been around for some years now, he puts the buck in the video to shame antler wise, Bull winkle is a monster. His rack is huge. The only problem is he only been Caught on camera at 1:00am-2:00am

They don't get to be that old and big by accident. He'll stay bedded down during daylight hours unless a challenger or a doe makes him go stupid.
We have a "velvet season" this year for three days in August and I hope to take advantage of it!

Updated the new firmware 3.1.03.271 had issues with RAV on the reticle not appearing on the video. This firmware fix that issue and some other things.
This is the recoil activated video (RAV)
I can go into settings and set how many seconds to start recording before tigger is pulled and set how many seconds to record after tigger is pulled. Recoil starts the video process
And the new firmware fixed the issue is was having with RAV

Now that fire arm season is over for deer I’m going to start getting back out to coyote hunt at night and day time.

Couldn’t get the link to open but glad to hear you are still working with scope. Just came back from my deer lease and the hog population is getting out of control so my interest in night shooting is increasing. Lots of information to sort through. Would like to buy once because of the expense.

I purchased the Xsight II 5-20X from Cabelas about a year ago when the external battery was included. I haven’t used it yet as I have been unable to down load the firmware. Every time I try to download the file I get an error message saying the file was damaged. It maybe my laptop as it has its share of glitches. I hope to download the firmware on a different computer and format the SD card. I will post my progress here when possible.

When I got my ATN 4K Pro scope went and bought a SIM card (on the right in pic) it wouldn’t work, couldn’t even down load firmware to the scope. The SIM card icon was red in color.

Called ATN they said I had the wrong SIM card for the scope.

So I took my ATN owners manual to Best Buy showed the kid what I had and needed a SIM card for it, he sold me the SIM card on the left of pic. It worked and the SIM card icon is white now.

The SIM card icon I’m talking about is on the screen when looking into the scope. It’s at the top right.
