Hope this isn't a problem posting here, not sure where it would belong.
Thumbs up to 80sgyrene, who offered and delivered on helping with the use of his tools AND his knowledge in working with me on my new MP-15. We spent something like 3 hours together, and only about 30 minutes were actually taking mine apart and putting it together with the new parts I was looking to use. He also did a little bluing on my front sight where I clipped it, and this was after he hit it with his belt sander.
The rest of the time was two gun guys B.S.ing and me drooling over a few of his toys!
Turns out the guy also has
skills, gunsmithing skills. Some of the stuff he's done to some of these pieces is nothing short of remarkable.
Jersey people, this is a fellow to keep an eye on, if he decides to expand his hobby to anything more, he'll be in demand.
Meanwhile, I look
forward to paying it
forward.
