Nikon Prostaff
Just mounted a 3x9-40 Nikon on my Sport OR. Extensive research for low to mid priced scopes, Nikon, Leuopold, and Vortex. Dicks had this one on sale and looks very good so far. Too windy today to get it zeroed; will get out early next week.

Nikon P223 is a budget friendly scope designed for the AR as well.

I have a Prostaff on my .270. Been a good scope for the price point.

Just put a prostaff on a .375 h&h. It survived sighting in, I don't have any misgivings about its durability

Been shooting a Nikon P223 for 3 years. Nikon is solid and holds up well on my Sport 1. Not a Prostaff but a good Nikon.

Nikon makes great scopes. I have the P-22 on my 15-22 and my buddy has the P-223 on his AR.
I don't care how great a deal it is. Dicks will never get another dime of my money. I refuse to support a retailer that is openly against the 2nd amendment. Haven't set foot in there since they began advocating for gun control.

Nikon's P-223 scopes are very nice and a great value. They have been renamed, P-Tactical and lots of nice upgrades and options for the same price. You can find some good deals on the P-223 line of scopes since they are being discontinued. From here on out the P-Tactical line will all be 1-inch tubes and the M-Tactical line 30mm tubes.

I have had a PROSTAFF on a .50 BMG and through over 60 rounds under a .375 H&H with no loss of zero of other issues. I was lucky enough to find 3 young guys who said they weren't recoil sensitive to each shoot a box of shells after I sighted in my rifle. So glad it wasn't me shooting all those 300 gr projectiles! If something had happened I know Nikon would have taken care of me with their No Fault Warranty.

Just gave a 3x9 Prostaff to a friend for his M1 A, I used it on a Ruger Ranch 300 Blackout until changing to night vision. The Prostaff is a really quality scope for not a lot of money.

I'm certainly no fan of Dick's, but had a few gift cards to burn. I try to avoid the big box stores; bought the last three of my guns from local FFL dealers, incl. my 9mm Shield and Sport ll.

Better off using the gift cards as they already have the money. May as well get some gear and some fine gear you got!
