Thinking about getting one of these. I'm not talking about the Sport models, but rather the model with the chrome-lined barrel and retails for close to $1,000. Does anyone have one of these? How is the quality compared to other brands such as Windham, Colt, etc?

I bought one roughly 12 years ago and I’ve been pleased with it.

It’s proven to be reliable and I’ve chosen it as my home defense rifle.

I believe it to be comparable in quality to Colt and any other ARs that are adequately built to serve as bonafide patrol rifles.

Honestly for that kind of money, I would be considering a BCM or a Daniel Defense or just home building one from quality parts.

I would agree....but, plan on spending at least another $500.00 for either a BCM, or, DD!!
