Are the S&W Sport uppers compatible with milspec lowers?

I briefly owned a Sport upper (no dust cover, forward assist) that was used on a few different lowers until I found a S&W lower for it.

About a month ago I removed the same type upper from a rudely built Poly80 lower and installed it on an Olympic Arms lower. Swap away!

Great thing many like about the AR is it is kind of like the adult Lego set. You can mix and match all kinds of parts.

Yes, and I don't really pay attention to the phrase Milspec unless its dealing with buttstocks and receiver extensions.
