Default Price check

I found a M&P 15 sport in Houston for $830, the one with open sites, that sounds a little priced to me, what are they going for in your areas?

LGS just had 2...both sold for $1299 within a day of him putting them out.

But...I live in NY so ARs have always brought a premium.

I bought in OH months ago, used MP 15 Sport II for 700.00. Was back at the store this week and there was nothing under 1,200.00. That’s a good price.

Crazy, I think Florida Gun Exchange had a special on them last year for $499.

Well it was the Optics ready version, came with three mags and a soft case so I think that was also part of the cost. But that’s a good price too, wow

Right now, I'd have to say that's a "decent" price-sadly. The lowest price I've seen in my area has been $689 at Rural King store, but it was a brand I had never heard of. I'd hate to be in a position to have to choose to buy now, or maybe not be able to get one later, or at all. It's your money-your call...

I purchased my M&P 15 Sport II at the local Rural King here in Central Ohio for $679.00 back in December. I think the price has jumped over $120.00 from that since then. Glad I purchased when I did.

If it is in stock and you can take it home today, that price may be the best you find. Academy sells them for a little under $700, but they don't have any in stock.

Well, I went ahead and bought one. I still think the price was to high but it is only money, now it will most likely set in the safe.

Order some extra magazines today. Some Internet stores are showing them in stock at sale prices. I brought Surefeed Okay 20 round magazines for $11.99 and Magpul Gen 3 30 mags for $14.20 earlier this week. I expect the supply is going to dry up very soon.

Better to have it in the safe and not need them to need it and not have it! Ammo is the next biggest challenge...ugh...

Really? In todays day and age when a suggestion is made to buy more mags that normally means a double digit purchase, like 10 thirty rounders and 5 twenty rounders.

Really, I bought this for fun not to make war. I have plenty other rifles and pistols for that. I prefer a larger caliber for that.

I bought one with a soft side case from Bud's last year for $525. They don't even have them listed now, so I can't compare today's price, but my local dealer has them listed on their webpage for $725.00 and in stock.

I just put mine in the safe, and have never fired it. No real interest in it, I got it "just because."

I gave 800 for mine about 6 months ago but it came with a soft case, 5 Pmags and 100 rounds of ammo. My wife decided she wanted one and they were 900 with no extras so she bought a Ruger for 750.

Thumbs up

In 2019 Sport II's were selling for $499-$599.
In 2016 I was going to buy (2) Sport II's from Grab A Gun for $479 each but they were sold out. I bought (2) Ruger AR-556's instead for $469 each.
I received an email from a gun company last week advertising the Sport II for $649. I can't remember the companies name.

What is kinda bad is, I loaned my set of small base dies to my hunting partner a while back and he is starting to forget almost everything, so I asked him about the dies and he said he did not have them, then later he called and told me he found a extra set of small base dies and that I could have them. Bless the older reloaders and hunters.

I've seen Websites advertising various configurations from between $499.99 to 999.99

Of course most of these places don't have any in stock. My local gun shop has one version for $899.99.

I saw one website that advertised the optics ready version for $999.99, and one with Crimson Trace red/green dot optic for the same price. Then they had the optic ready rifle with a mag charger and an m&p branded soft rifle bag for 599.99. Go figure.

I was able to get mine for about $700 at Dunhams. It was the first one I has seen in stock anywhere for quite some time.
