Just wanted to say hello to all. I specifically joined this forum as I just purchased my first AR-S&W M&P Sport 2 (I'm more of a pistol/shotgun guy). It is unfortunately the CA edition equipped with a hideous fin grip (makes it difficult when I manipulate/administrate firearm) and a fixed non-adjustable butt stock. There are no optics on it..other then the rails and the magpul irons I have temporarily placed on it. I have taken it to a couple of range days and that fin just kills my hands when manipulating it (I practice both left and right handed).



So to make it more user friendly(and safer IMHO) I plan on putting an AR Maglock w/pin and swapping out the butt stock and grip. I am in Commie-California so I am not sure if S&W places a one-off spec buffer tube on this rifle or if a simple aftermarket stock (maybe Magpul or something) would work (after taking out the factory pin).
