Default My new S&W rifle

Picked up a S&W 16" carbine a few years ago but must admit that have always preferred the 20" A2 style especially on the outdoor range,
Anyway the idea kept marinating in my head that I had never seen a USGI style SW 20" A4 and that this would make an interesting variation to put next to my Colts, and if the project worked out maybe could (semi) retire my old Bushmaster A2 (made in Windham Me) that has served as my range gun for a long time.
Put this together last night (shown below on left next to the Bushy A2) consists of:

SW USGI style lower receiver with hinged trigger guard, Timney 3lb Match trigger group and A2 rifle length stock and buffer,

The upper is a PSA forged 7075 T6 receiver mated to a 20" 4150V chrome moly barrel with 1/7 twist, .750 wide gas block, F marked front site and squared A2 post nitride (melonite) finish, larger style A4 front handguards, topped off with a Rock River Arms NM carry handle with hooded NM site and .25 click adjustments
(btw all of my other AR rifles have the standard milspec parkerized finish with chromed bore and chamber, after watching a few videos decided to give the non chromed nitride treated barrel a try for comparison).
Snapped this shot right before I went to bed but will try to get some better pics in the sunlight later and post a report when I get the time to dial it in on the range.

Looks good. I really like my WW 20" govt model. Very soft shooter and extremely accurate. Removed the CH and replaced with 8-12 scope. Added Timney trigger. Have a nice bipod for it but it normally remains removed. It's my 100m + gun. Feels like I'm lugging a Garand compared to the carbines and pistols. But I love it.
